Bnei Brak Celebrates 'Chatan' Project Reviving Classic Hasidic Songs

A major musical project titled 'Chatan in Bnei Brak' has been launched, bringing together prominent Hasidic singers and musicians to revive classic Hasidic melodies. The project features new recordings of well-known songs originally performed by artists such as Eli Artzlich, Israel Adler, Lipa Schmeltzer, and others.

The production involved multiple studios and professionals, including recording at studios run by Yonatan Bloy, Avi Reimi, and David Twiev, with mixing by Chaim Mozes and video direction by Haershi Segal. The project was produced by Avraham Yitzchak Shidla and coordinated by Bnei Barzel, with cover design by Zeira and photography by David Orian and Nachman Elber.

Songs featured include "Chatan Dumeh Lamelech" performed by Lipa Schmeltzer and Mona Rozenblum, "Hasidim VeAnashim Maaseh" by Meir Adler, and "Gezog Avois" by the late 'Nachalat Dan' Rebbe from Modzitz. The project aims to honor and preserve the rich musical heritage of the Hasidic community in Bnei Brak and beyond.

This initiative highlights the cultural vibrancy of Bnei Brak and the ongoing dedication to traditional Hasidic music, blending original compositions with contemporary performances to reach new audiences.
