Ahead of their Conference League playoff second-leg match against Atalanta, Hapoel Tel Aviv received a 2 million euro offer from Italian Serie A club Lecce for their key player Satu Toriel. Lecce, which features Israeli player Omri Gandelman, made the bid on Monday, August 24, 2026, but Hapoel Tel Aviv declined and stated they have no intention of selling Toriel to any club.
