EasyJet Delays Return to Israel Amid Ongoing Security Concerns

EasyJet, the low-cost airline, has announced it will not resume flights to Israel until the security situation stabilizes. The airline had previously postponed its return from summer to autumn but now indicates no plans to restart operations in the near future. This development further reduces competition in the Israeli aviation market, which has already been impacted by Ryanair's continued absence due to political reasons.

The lack of low-cost carriers like EasyJet and Ryanair limits options for Israeli travelers, who face fewer choices and potentially higher airfare prices. Ryanair had been known for offering extremely low fares, sometimes as low as 5 euros, capturing a significant share of passenger traffic to and from Israel.
