Iran Broadcasts $10 Million Bounty Threat Against Donald Trump’s Son Barron

Iranian state television aired a video on Sunday threatening Barron Trump, son of U.S. President Donald Trump, by offering a $10 million bounty for locating him. The three-minute clip detailed methods to track Barron, including monitoring online activity and mapping his social circles, aiming to breach his security perimeter. Similar videos have previously targeted Donald Trump and his wife Melania. The broadcast featured graphics simulating surveillance efforts but provided no verifiable evidence of actual attempts to locate or harm Barron Trump.

According to Iran International, the operational claims in the video could not be independently confirmed, and the presentation relied heavily on illustrative graphics rather than proof of successful actions. Threats against Trump and other senior U.S. officials have been a recurring theme in Iranian political rhetoric and media, especially from factions linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Past U.S. indictments have accused Iranian operatives of plotting assassinations against high-profile figures, including former National Security Advisor John Bolton, in retaliation for the 2020 killing of Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani.

Iranian rhetoric has intensified since the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei on February 28 and the launch of the "Tiger Roar" operation, with calls for revenge becoming central to conservative messaging. The video’s release coincides with ongoing cyberattacks attributed to Iranian hackers, including a recent power station shutdown in the UK. The Israeli Mossad also released a video encouraging Iranian exiles to influence events in Iran.
