Avigdor Lieberman Opposes Gadi Eizenkot's Demand on Prime Minister Role Commitment

Avigdor Lieberman, chairman of Yisrael Beiteinu, and Gadi Eizenkot, chairman of the Yisrael party, held a private and tense meeting last week amid their public disagreements. During the meeting, Lieberman firmly opposed Eizenkot's demand that political parties commit not to seek the prime minister position. Eizenkot, however, insisted on his public principle that the leader of the largest party should become prime minister.
