Netanyahu Shares Phone Number to Directly Hear Public Feedback
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video inviting the public to contact him directly via his personal phone number. Initially surprised by the idea, Netanyahu quickly affirmed his desire for the number to be published, stating, "I want to hear you, your suggestions, your questions, your pains." He encouraged people to send him messages but cautioned that he might not be able to respond to everyone, promising to reply to as many as possible.
This is not the first time Netanyahu has shared his phone number during an election campaign. In August 2022, during the campaign for the 25th Knesset, he posted his mobile number and invited calls, receiving approximately 9,420 calls within half an hour, according to Likud spokespersons. At that time, Netanyahu explained that after leaving office, he embraced smartphones and WhatsApp, deciding to make his number public and even offering video calls with some callers.
