Retired Brigadier General Urges Israel to Directly Strike Turkish Forces in Syria

He also addressed criticism from Tom Barrack, former envoy of US President Donald Trump to Lebanon, who had recently criticized Israel's strike in Syria. Solomon suggested Barrack's comments were influenced by personal business interests and a desire to shape policy according to those interests.

Last week, Barrack argued that Israel should have informed Turkey ahead of its strike in Syria, warning that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan could have mounted a counterattack against Israeli aircraft. The exchange highlights the complex and escalating dynamics involving Israel, Turkey, and Syria amid regional instability.
