Electric Scooter Rider Seriously Injured in Bus Collision on Road 44 Near Nir Tzvi Junction
A man in his 50s was seriously injured after being hit by a bus while riding an electric scooter on Road 44 near the Nir Tzvi junction. The incident occurred early in the morning, with emergency services receiving the call at 07:44. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived at the scene to find the rider unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury. They provided initial treatment including bleeding control and assisted ventilation before transporting him in a mobile intensive care unit to Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh) hospital. Witnesses at the scene reported that the injury happened during the scooter ride and immediately alerted emergency responders.
