Turkey Intensifies Criticism of Netanyahu Amid Regional Tensions

In an article published by "Turkey Today," writer Ilker Sezer described Israel as an "insecure state" led by a prime minister obsessed with his legacy and fearful of imprisonment, calling this a "toxic combination" for a country in a complex region. Sezer dismissed Israel's reputation as the "only democracy in the Middle East" as a cliché propagated by American research institutes.

The article praised Turkey's efforts to resolve its internal Kurdish conflict through a peace process led by the nationalist right-wing party of Devlet Bahceli. He dismissed this as a high level of self-delusion, likening it to "throwing a stone at your neighbor's window and claiming it was to respect their privacy."
