Ronaldinho, the legendary Brazilian footballer and former Barcelona star, has officially announced a comeback by signing a contract to play one official match for Ravenna, a club in Italy's third division. This will be his first official game since 2015. The decision to return at age 46 is driven primarily by business considerations, as Ronaldinho is a co-owner of the club. The plan is for him to attempt to score the final official goal of his career.

Since retiring from professional football, Ronaldinho has participated in veteran matches and beach soccer, including playing for Barcelona's veterans team in Israel. He stated, "Only the coach knows if I will return to play. I want to score the 300th and last goal of my career. I am fit and feel good." Ravenna's president, Ignacio Cipriani, denied that this move is a marketing stunt and noted that Ronaldinho is unlikely to play in the opening round.
