Israeli Minister Meir Porush Threatens Ultra-Orthodox Consumer Boycott Over Economic Pressures

Meir Porush, Israel's Minister of Jerusalem and Heritage, warned of a potential consumer boycott by the ultra-Orthodox community during his speech at the "Tevuna" conference. Porush stated that the ultra-Orthodox public feels threatened, asserting that economic powers are endangering their very existence and their right to live in Israel. He highlighted that the ultra-Orthodox community spends over 52 billion shekels annually and emphasized that they will not hesitate to use this economic influence. Porush added that when the time comes, the leading rabbis will issue the directive to initiate such action.
