Aymara Tribe Leader Prays for Israel’s Prosperity at Bolivia Support Rally

In La Paz, Bolivia, around 100 pastors and community leaders gathered for a pro-Israel conference where a significant moment of intercultural solidarity took place. The leader of the Aymara tribe, one of Bolivia’s main indigenous groups alongside the Quechua, delivered a prayer in the ancient Aymara language for Israel’s peace, security, and prosperity. This language has been preserved by the Aymara people since pre-Columbian times in the Andes region.

Israeli Ambassador Gali Dagan, present at the event, expressed deep appreciation for the spiritual and human connection between the peoples. He thanked the evangelical leaders and indigenous representatives for their steadfast support of Israel, especially during periods when official diplomatic relations were severed. Ambassador Dagan invited attendees to visit Israel and its capital, Jerusalem.

The gathering underscored the enduring grassroots support for Israel in Bolivia, which persisted quietly through years of diplomatic estrangement and is now experiencing renewed warmth as ties between Jerusalem and La Paz improve.
