Holon Man Charged After Stabbing Ex-Girlfriend’s Partner Near Tel Aviv Hotel

The Tel Aviv District Prosecution filed charges on Thursday against a man in his 20s from Holon for stabbing another man in his 20s near the Royal Beach Hotel on Herbert Samuel Street in Tel Aviv. The victim sustained moderate injuries and was hospitalized for treatment. According to the indictment, the stabbing was motivated by a romantic dispute, as the victim had been in a relationship with the suspect’s ex-girlfriend. The suspect allegedly arrived at the hotel armed with a sharp object and stabbed the victim in the abdomen and hand.

Following the incident, officers from the Lev Tel Aviv station in the Yarkon area responded promptly, conducting extensive investigations and technological tracking that led to the suspect’s identification and arrest. His detention has been extended multiple times, and the prosecution has requested that he remain in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings. The charge against him is assault with a weapon.
