New York State Warns Holocaust Survivors of Fraudulent JHCC Compensation Claims Group

New York State has issued an official warning to Holocaust survivors and their families about fraudulent activities by an organization called the Jewish Holocaust Claims Center (JHCC). Governor Kathy Hochul stated that the group has been proactively contacting survivors and their relatives, offering to file compensation claims on their behalf. However, investigations by state authorities failed to verify the organization's legitimacy or the legality of its operations. As a result, the JHCC's website has been taken down. Governor Hochul condemned the scam, saying, "To deceive and steal from Holocaust survivors and their families is the lowest form of depravity."
