Two-Year-Old Found Injured After Half-Hour Disappearance in Jerusalem, Boy Detained
Jerusalem police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the injury of a two-year-old girl found in the Ramat Eshkol area with bruises after reportedly disappearing for about half an hour. The parents told authorities they had taken the toddler for a walk when she suddenly went missing. After approximately 30 minutes, she was located with visible injuries and was taken to the hospital for further medical evaluation. Her condition is described as mild.
Following the incident, officers from the Jerusalem District and the Lev HaBira police station arrived at the scene and began an inquiry. During their investigation, they detained an 11-year-old boy from Jerusalem, who is suspected to be connected to the event. The boy was taken to the police station along with his mother.
Medical staff at the hospital are conducting additional tests to determine the nature of the injuries and to rule out any further harm. The police continue to examine the case to clarify the exact circumstances of the toddler's injuries and disappearance.
