Israeli Drama 'The Rumor' Premieres on HOT Featuring Oshri Cohen as Detective in Jerusalem

HOT is set to premiere a new eight-episode police-psychological drama series titled "The Rumor" on September 3. The show stars Oshri Cohen as Moshe (Mosh) Elhayani, a detective transferred to the Jerusalem police investigations unit. Elhayani becomes involved in probing rapidly spreading rumors of abuse in a Haredi neighborhood in Jerusalem. As he digs deeper to uncover the truth, the investigation forces him to confront buried memories from his own childhood. The series explores themes of truth, faith, and memory through both the investigation and the detective's personal story. "The Rumor" was created, written, and directed by Nimrod Eldar, known for "The Day After I Left." Alongside Cohen, the cast includes Menashe Noy, Shmil Ben Ari, Sasson Gabai, Ran Moshiuf, Einat Holland, and Ben Sultan.
