Brith Yaakov Yeshiva in Jerusalem Sees Record Enrollment Demand for Elul Term

Brith Yaakov Yeshiva, located in the Beit Vagan neighborhood of Jerusalem, is housed in a spacious and elegant building. Founded 26 years ago by brothers Rabbi Yitzchak and Rabbi Shlomo Tolidano under the presidency of Rabbi Michael Tolidano, the yeshiva was established to serve outstanding graduates of smaller yeshivas deserving of a place combining deep Talmudic study and personal development at the highest level. From its inception, the yeshiva gained a national reputation and became a magnet for top Torah scholars, steadily establishing itself as a leading institution in the Sephardic yeshiva world.

Today, Brith Yaakov is recognized for its high scholarly standards and strict religious observance, producing hundreds of graduates who have become rabbis, yeshiva heads, and kollel leaders both in Israel and abroad. A recent tour by the 'Olam Avreichim' team left them impressed by the quality of the staff and the demeanor of the students, affirming the yeshiva's reputation for excellence in Torah and fear of Heaven.

The yeshiva currently enrolls about 360 students. Due to its rigorous academic style and strong religious character, it attracts hundreds of applicants from top smaller yeshivas each year. The admissions committee, including Rabbi Shlomo Tolidano and Rabbis Shlomo Cohen and Rafael Baruch Tolidano, selects approximately 70 new first-year students from among hundreds of candidates. This year, the yeshiva is experiencing record demand for enrollment as the Elul term begins.
