Atarat Shlomo Yeshiva Opens 13th Year with 1,350 Students and New Dormitory in Rishon LeZion

The Atarat Shlomo yeshiva in Rishon LeZion has commenced its 13th academic year with a student body of approximately 1,350 outstanding learners. The yeshiva is led by prominent rabbis including Rabbi Chaim Feinstein, Rabbi Chaim Meir Ozband, and Rabbi Shmuel Binyamin Sorotzkin. This year, the first-year class alone enrolled 250 students, prompting the appointment of an additional lecturer, Rabbi Yaakov Zaltz, a distinguished alumnus, and the division of the first-year into four separate classes to accommodate the growth.

Due to the significant increase in student numbers and resulting overcrowding in the study halls, the yeshiva has constructed a new, spacious dormitory building with over 200 beds to house its students. The opening of the new academic year was marked by special events and was documented with extensive photography and video coverage, highlighting the vibrant atmosphere at the yeshiva.

The yeshiva continues to expand its educational offerings and facilities to meet the needs of its growing student population, maintaining its reputation for excellence in Torah study in the Rishon LeZion community.
