Avishai Greenstein Rules Out Voting for Ofer Winter, Calls Him a Dangerous Narcissist
Avishai Greenstein, a writer for i24, publicly declared on Wednesday that he will not vote for Ofer Winter. Greenstein criticized Winter not only for speaking in slogans, which he said is common in the political landscape, but primarily for his narcissism. He described Winter as a "dangerous narcissist" for deciding to form a new political party despite the already large number of parties targeting a limited voter base.
Earlier the same day, a billboard appeared at the Leonardo Plaza Hotel in Tel Aviv with the message "Soon you will have someone to vote for" and the date August 25. This sparked speculation that the date marks the announcement of a new party by retired Brigadier General Ofer Winter. The purple color of the date on the billboard, associated with the Givati Brigade, added to this assumption.
Additionally, reports from N12 revealed that political activist Yosef Hadad, who recently registered a new party called "Brave Israel," is in advanced talks to form a political alliance with Winter and bereaved mother Lali Deri. The three have been working on a joint agreement in recent weeks. If finalized, the official announcement of their alliance will be made just before the candidate registration deadline to minimize political pressure, including from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
