Hamas Special Unit Raids Senior Police Officer's Tent in Gaza and Detains Him

In the early hours near 1 a.m., a special Hamas force of 15 to 20 operatives accompanied by police dogs raided the tent of senior Hamas police officer Aqid Tsabari Abd Al-Al in the Muazi area of Khan Yunis, Gaza. The unit entered from the Al-Shawkous area, located between southern Khan Yunis and northern Rafah, and detained Tsabari along with another individual before retreating toward the Yellow Line, the ceasefire boundary with Israel.

According to Gaza reports and blogger Abu Ali Express, Tsabari Abd Al-Al holds a rank equivalent to lieutenant colonel in the Hamas police. During the operation, the raiding force reportedly spoke Hebrew and inquired about the number of people present. Alongside Tsabari, the force also arrested Nassat Za'rab, an employee of the security company "Al-Aqsa Committee." The entire operation was conducted swiftly with the unit withdrawing immediately after the arrests.
