Chabad Education Network Expands to Over 700 Preschools and Schools Across Israel

Chabad's education network in Israel is launching the new school year with record growth, now encompassing more than 700 preschools and kindergartens nationwide. The system serves over 50,000 children and youth across approximately 700 early childhood centers and more than 150 boys' and girls' schools. This expansion highlights the movement's significant educational influence and reach.

The network's workforce includes around 4,000 educators and staff, led by Chabad emissaries and school directors, who dedicate themselves to teaching Torah, Hasidism, and core values alongside rigorous pedagogical standards. Notably, the "Tomchei Temimim" yeshiva network within Chabad has grown to over 5,500 students engaged in both revealed and Hasidic studies.

Over the summer, teams worked intensively to ensure a smooth school opening, including facility expansions, training hundreds of new staff members, and developing creative solutions to current challenges. Last month, a major conference was held at the Expo Center in Tel Aviv, gathering thousands of education emissaries from across Israel for professional workshops and preparation for the academic year. Rabbi Eli Kritchvesky, CEO of the network, emphasized the strong demand for educational tools and the community's eagerness to grow and innovate.

Chabad institutions continue to attract diverse segments of Israeli society, with many parents choosing their children’s education within the network due to its nurturing environment, deep-rooted tradition, and commitment to excellence.
