Investment Firm Pestrank Reveals Highest-Paid Executive and Bonuses Ahead of IPO

Pestrank Investment House, specializing in portfolio management and mutual funds, disclosed its financial details and executive compensation in a prospectus released this week ahead of its initial public offering (IPO) on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The company is valued at approximately 300 million shekels pre-money. The prospectus highlights a doubling of revenues in 2025 due to strong market performance and reveals that the highest-paid executive was not the CEO or chairman but the chief investment officer, Ariel Moldovan, whose total compensation reached about 2.1 million shekels in 2025.

While Moldovan's base salary was relatively modest at around 464,000 shekels, he received substantial bonuses tied to 5% of the organic revenue growth and up to 1% of total revenues, which surged in 2025. His compensation increased from 885,000 shekels the previous year. Additionally, if Moldovan's employment ends due to a change in company control, he is entitled to a golden parachute equal to 3.5% of revenues.

The two controlling shareholders, Eran Pestrank (chairman) and Shay Shemo (CEO), each earned approximately 857,000 shekels in 2025. Starting next year, they will receive annual bonuses of 2.5% of net profits if profits exceed 30 million shekels, rising to 3% if profits surpass 50 million shekels. They also hold restricted shares amounting to 2.5% of the company’s equity before the IPO, exercisable if the company’s value increases by 50% from the IPO price.

In 2025, Pestrank Shemo reported revenues of about 56 million shekels and a net profit of 27 million shekels. The company projects revenues of 30 to 31 million shekels and net profits of 15.5 to 16.5 million shekels for the first half of 2026. The prospectus provides a detailed view of the company’s financial health and executive incentives as it prepares to go public.
