Thai Ambassador Visits Injured Thai Agricultural Workers Hospitalized After Military Explosion in Northern Israel
The Thai Ambassador to Israel, Bunyarit Wichianphont, visited six Thai agricultural workers hospitalized at Ziv Medical Center in Safed following injuries from a military ordnance explosion near Metula on Tuesday morning. Two of the injured underwent surgery and remain in serious but stable condition in the general intensive care unit. Another patient is in moderate condition in the surgical ward, while three others are in mild condition in the orthopedic department. All six suffered shrapnel and blast injuries. During the visit, accompanied by the hospital director Professor Salman Zarka and trauma teams, Ambassador Wichianphont expressed gratitude for the professional and dedicated medical care. He emphasized the special relationship between Israel and Thailand, especially evident in moments like these. Professor Zarka updated the ambassador on the patients' status and assured that the medical teams will continue to do everything necessary for their recovery.
