Miss Israel 2019 Sella Sharlene Marries Her Longtime Partner in an Italian Castle

Sella Sharlene, Miss Israel 2019 and a former contestant on "Ninja Israel," has married her partner Miron after 12 years together. The couple, who had been warned that beauty queens and their partners often do not last, tied the knot in a highly styled wedding at a castle in Italy.

Sharlene said they married at Castello di Taviano, an 11th-century castle in Emilia-Romagna, east of Milan. Over two months, they searched for a venue in the area with the help of an Italian producer and fell in love with the site when they found it. They flew 100 guests to Italy for the weekend.

The celebration began on Friday with a pizza party, followed by the wedding the next day. Sharlene described it as a moving event that shifted from room to room inside the castle, with each stage revealing a new space. Guests stayed at a hotel with a pool in a nearby village, and the weekend included shared meals and time together. She said, "It was like a dream, exactly as we imagined."

Asked how the relationship survived her beauty queen title, Sharlene said people had predicted they would break up, but they grew and developed together over the years. She noted that Miron is far removed from that world, though he flew with her when she represented Israel at Miss Universe and supported her throughout. The couple engraved the phrase "balance, love and togetherness" inside their wedding rings. Sharlene also said she had worked until the wedding as partnerships manager at Ernst & Young, and is now developing her own business venture.
