In recent days, significant efforts have emerged within the Ethiopian-Israeli community to secure Malko's place on the Likud list. Thirty-two community spiritual leaders signed an official letter addressed to Netanyahu, proactively requesting that she be guaranteed a reserved position.

These moves are also influenced by internal electoral data analyzed by the party. Likud sources indicate that recent internal polls suggest Malko's inclusion could attract roughly half a Knesset seat worth of support from Ethiopian-Israeli voters. Netanyahu is reportedly weighing this alongside other considerations, including the potential reservation of a spot for a senior former Likud official.
