Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett responded on Monday evening to revelations that ultra-Orthodox activists were paid to vote for a specific candidate list in the Likud party primaries, as admitted in an interview with Kikar HaShabbat. Bennett stated, "This video proves what we have seen for four years: Likud has become the execution arm of Aryeh Deri." He added, "There is no Bibi without Deri, and no Likud without Gafni." Bennett criticized Likud's dependence on anti-Zionist parties, saying it leads to neglecting soldiers and public servants. He emphasized that his political approach does not owe anything to any group except Israeli citizens who serve and work, asserting, "Therefore, with us, anyone who does not enlist will not receive a shekel from the state. Together we will fix this."
