Trump Says Israel Will Join US If War With Iran Resumes
In an interview with Fox News, former US President Donald Trump stated that if conflict with Iran reignites, Israel will join the United States in combat. Trump emphasized that Tehran must surrender, saying, "Iran needs to raise the white flag and surrender." He claimed there are secret communications with Iran's Revolutionary Guards and a separate channel with Hamas through which they are disarming.
Trump also threatened Oman, warning that any interference with control over the Strait of Hormuz would lead to severe military retaliation. He dismissed any connection between the US midterm elections and the approach toward Iran, asserting that economic pressure through a naval blockade continues to strain Iran.
Amid stalled diplomatic efforts, Trump reiterated on social media that Iran will never be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons. Meanwhile, Saudi sources told Al Arabiya there are reports of a possible extension of the temporary ceasefire between the involved countries to 60 days. The US Vice President highlighted that lowering fuel prices remains a top priority for Washington in its dealings with Tehran.
