Reservist's Wife Shares Emotional Relief as Husband Returns From Extended Service

Bat-El Sananis Makaytan, a content creator, released a heartfelt audio recording of her husband, Aviram, discussing his extended reserve military service, which resonated deeply across Israeli social media. During the summer break, the personal strain and exhaustion from managing home and children while her husband was away culminated in a powerful outcry: "I have no strength left, they have no strength. I am so exhausted," she revealed in the recording.

In an interview on the program "HaOlam HaBoker," Makaytan described the moment her husband returned from reserve duty as a tremendous relief, especially for their children who had been eagerly awaiting their father. She shared, "They are excited that their dad is a soldier, they are so proud of him."

Makaytan also spoke about the widespread public response and wave of empathy from women experiencing similar burdens due to prolonged military service. She expressed surprise at the number of people who approached her in public and the many messages of support and solidarity she received, highlighting a shared struggle among families of reservists.
