Israeli Man Found Dead in Bangkok Hotel During Thailand Vacation
A 35-year-old Israeli man, married and father to a daughter, was found dead in his hotel room in Bangkok, Thailand, while on vacation. The incident occurred on August 15, 2026. ZAKA, the Chabad emissary, and the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs are coordinating with local Thai authorities to arrange the repatriation of the body for burial in Israel. Baruch Nidam, head of ZAKA's international division, stated that upon receiving the report, their international team immediately began handling the case with respect and worked with local officials to facilitate the release and transport of the deceased back to Israel for funeral arrangements.
