Israeli Transport Ministry Launches Refunds for Public Transit Pass Holders During Operation Guardian of the Walls

The Israeli Ministry of Transport and Road Safety announced it will begin issuing refunds starting tomorrow for public transportation users who held periodic passes during Operation Guardian of the Walls, when public transit services were limited. The refunds apply specifically to holders of the "Hofshi Chodshi" (monthly unlimited) pass who were unable to use their passes during this period. Additionally, students with annual or second-semester passes for the 2025/2026 academic year are also eligible.

Passengers can claim their refunds until December 31, 2026. Eligible users may choose to receive their refunds through the Hop-On and Rav-Kav Online websites or apps, or at Rav-Kav charging devices located in authorized retail outlets nationwide. Refunds can also be ordered by phone at 03-7207406 and redeemed at compatible charging devices.
