Search Underway in Arava for 70-Year-Old Missing After Perseids Meteor Shower

The Arava Rescue Unit was deployed to the Ein Zin area to search for a 70-year-old man who went missing after heading out last night to watch the Perseids meteor shower. According to the Central Arava Regional Council, the man has not made contact since his departure. The search efforts are ongoing as authorities work to locate him.
