Haredi Lifeguard Delivers Torah Message to Women at Separate Beach on Rosh Chodesh Elul

As tens of thousands of Haredi yeshiva students returned to their studies after the summer break, a unique scene unfolded at a separate women's beach yesterday evening. A lifeguard addressed the women bathers, reminding them that it was Rosh Chodesh Elul, the last day of Bein Hazmanim (the break period). He encouraged those going to pray to recite Hallel and explained the significance of Elul as an acronym for "Ani L'Dodi V'Dodi Li" (I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine). He also offered blessings for women sending their husbands to Uman for the upcoming High Holidays, wishing them an easy journey without restrictions.

The lifeguard further referenced the weekly Torah portion, Shoftim, urging everyone to live righteously and avoid bribery, quoting "Tzedek Tzedek Tirdof" (Justice, justice shall you pursue). He concluded by expressing hope to see the women again next year. In the coming days, another separate beach area will open, according to local news sources. One of the women bathers responded with gratitude, calling him "Honorable Rabbi."
