Maccabi Tel Aviv Sees 84% Season Ticket Renewal After Key Signings

Maccabi Tel Aviv has reported a strong season ticket renewal rate of 84 percent ahead of the 2026/27 basketball season, following several notable player signings. The renewal period began just over two weeks ago, and approximately 8,000 of the club's 9,500 existing season ticket holders have already renewed their subscriptions. Prior to the renewal period, the club had 5,512 fans on its waiting list.

The club clarified that season tickets include home games in the Israeli Premier League regular season and playoff quarterfinals, with priority given to combined season tickets that also cover EuroLeague games when they return to Israel. Recently, Maccabi Tel Aviv strengthened its roster by signing German center Daniel Theis and replacing Loney Walker with Keaton Wallace from the Atlanta Hawks. The first foreign player expected to arrive in Israel for the upcoming season is O'Shea Brissett, scheduled to land on Sunday at 18:15.

These roster enhancements appear to have positively influenced fan engagement and ticket renewals, signaling strong support for the team under coach Oded Katash as it prepares for the new season.
