This match replaces their postponed first-round game against Hapoel Tel Aviv, who delayed it due to their Conference League playoff against Atalanta. Hapoel Tel Aviv will begin their league campaign on Sunday, August 30, playing away against Hapoel Haifa at 20:15, also on Sport4.

The highlight of the second round will be the clash between Maccabi Tel Aviv and Maccabi Haifa at Bloomfield Stadium on Monday, August 31 at 20:30. For the reigning champions Hapoel Be'er Sheva, their first league match of the season will be on Saturday at 20:00 against Hapoel Ramat Gan at the Rehovot Stadium, with coverage on Sport3.

Additional matches on Saturday include Bnei Sakhnin hosting Maccabi Petah Tikva at 20:00, while simultaneously Ironi Kiryat Shmona will face Ironi Tiberias, and Hapoel Petah Tikva will host Hapoel Jerusalem, the latter broadcast live on Sport2.
