Former PM Naftali Bennett Vows to Crack Down on Israel's Crime Gangs

Naftali Bennett, former Prime Minister of Israel and current leader of the 'Together' party, sharply criticized the current government's handling of rising crime and violence in the country during an interview with Mako magazine. Bennett highlighted a 20% reduction in murder rates during his tenure, contrasting it with a 100% increase under the current administration, calling the latter a "total failure."

Bennett issued a direct challenge to the leaders of Israel's major crime organizations, including the Jerushi, Hariri, and Abu Latif gangs, declaring his intention to dismantle them fearlessly. He accused these groups of killing dozens annually and said that no one else has the courage to confront them. "I am not afraid of gangs," Bennett stated, emphasizing his readiness to take action where others have hesitated.

Concluding his remarks, Bennett delivered a stark warning to the crime syndicates: "I am coming to you, I will break you down and throw you in jail. You will flee from the State of Israel, I am not afraid of you." His comments signal a tough stance on crime and a promise to restore law and order if he returns to power.
