Rafaela’s Wish Temporarily Removes Gal Rubin from Big Brother House

With the Big Brother finale due in two weeks, contestant Gal Rubin was briefly taken out of the house on Sunday after fellow housemate Rafaela Twina asked for it during a task. The episode involved a “wish genie” inside the house, which offered to grant Twina one request.

Twina, who is not among Rubin’s close friends in the house, chose to wish for Rubin’s eviction. After Rubin left, several housemates, especially Twina, reacted with satisfaction, reflecting the tension between the two. But Rubin returned shortly afterward, because the removal was only part of the mission and not a real elimination.

Rubin remains one of the season’s most prominent contestants and is considered a strong favorite to win despite being a divisive figure both inside and outside the house. Last week, analytics company SCOOPER published a review saying Rubin was the most talked-about person in the house, by a margin of two to one over any other contestant. Her large online fan base portrays her as a survivor against the odds, strengthening her status as one of the clear frontrunners for the prize.
