Haredi Representative Resigns from 'ANU' Museum Board Over Offensive Exhibits

The Haredi representative on the board of the ANU Museum, formerly known as Beit Hatfutsot, has announced his resignation due to the museum's refusal to remove exhibits deemed offensive to Jewish sanctities. This decision follows persistent demands by the activist organization Yad L'Achim, which has been campaigning against the museum's displays that they argue violate Jewish values. The representative stated that he could not continue to be complicit in what he described as desecration of God's name.

Yad L'Achim praised the representative's courageous step and expressed hope that it would pressure the museum's management to finally remove the offensive exhibits. The organization also reiterated its warning against visiting the museum, especially during the current vacation period, citing the serious religious violations presented there.
