Hasidic singer and composer Ilan Heitner has released a new single titled 'Kol Atzmotai' ('All My Bones'), a song that originated from a spontaneous moment six years ago during a car ride. The melody was inspired by a familiar Chabad tune with the words 'Kol Atzmotai Tismachena, Hashem Mi Kamocha' ('All my bones shall say, Hashem, who is like You'), which captivated Heitner and led him to create a new composition. He recorded an initial sketch but then set the song aside for years as other projects took precedence.

On his birthday about two months ago, Heitner revisited the old recording and resumed work at the piano, gradually completing the song by incorporating additional phrases from Shabbat prayers such as 'Hashem Mi Kamocha,' 'Mi Yadameh Lecha,' and 'HaEl Hagadol Hagibor Vehanora.' The final piece blends quiet, introspective prayer with an uplifting musical climax, preserving the spiritual depth of the traditional texts while giving them new life.

The production was handled by ALOU, who programmed the song and performed the piano parts with Achia Cohen Aloru. Vladimir Orazhovsky mixed and mastered the track, with production advice from Rabbi Chaim Sofer. This fusion of modern musical production and traditional Hasidic prayer creates a listening experience that bridges past and present.

Heitner expressed that the song’s long gestation period reflects how sometimes a melody does not disappear but waits for the right moment to be fully realized. The single adds a unique contribution to the world of Hasidic music, combining heartfelt spirituality with contemporary sound.
