Pedestrian Killed in Sharon Car Accident Near Pardesiya Junction

A pedestrian in his 50s was fatally struck by a vehicle on Highway 4 near the Pardesiya junction close to Netanya on Sunday evening. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics arrived at the scene at 20:18 and found the man unconscious with severe injuries; he was pronounced dead at the site. Earlier the same day, another pedestrian in his 50s was seriously injured in a car accident in Nazareth and was transported to the English Hospital there. Additionally, on Highway 1 near the Metzuda junction, two Palestinian men around 45 years old died in a collision between two cars. A third man, also about 45, was seriously injured and taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. The fatalities in both incidents were confirmed at the scene.
