Israeli Sprinter Oded Kogut Finishes Fourth in Stage Three of Tour of Poland
Israeli cyclist Oded Kogut achieved a remarkable result by finishing fourth in the third stage of the Tour of Poland, a World Tour level race, on August 5, 2026. This performance matched the best-ever finish by an Israeli rider in a Pro Tour event. Kogut, known as the leading Israeli sprinter on the NSN team, had previously secured a fourth-place finish in a stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico earlier this year. Despite a challenging season marked by a serious injury, he has recently recovered and demonstrated his top form once again in Poland.
The race has been dominated by sprinter Jonathan Milan, who has won all the sprints so far, including the latest stage. However, Kogut presented Milan with his toughest competition to date. With four stages remaining in the Tour of Poland, Kogut's strong showing signals potential for further success in the race.
