Law Interns Protest at Justice Minister Yariv Levin’s Home Over Bar Exam Results

Dozens of law interns protested outside the home of Israeli Justice Minister Yariv Levin on Tuesday, demanding his intervention regarding the results of the June 2026 Israeli Bar Association certification exam. The protesters claimed the exam was unusually difficult, resulting in only about one-third of candidates passing. They called on Levin to engage directly with them and lead a review of the exam’s administration and outcomes. While other relevant parties have agreed to meet with the interns in recent days, Levin has not yet responded to their requests. During the demonstration, participants chanted slogans such as "No, no, no, justice will be served!" and insisted on a reassessment of the exam and its low pass rate. The interns emphasized that it is unacceptable for only a third of examinees to pass and demanded fairness in the evaluation process.
