Nahorai Yifrah Joins M.S. Kiryat Yam on Loan to Revive Promising Career
Nahorai Yifrah, once hailed as a major talent at Maccabi Haifa, has been loaned again, this time to M.S. Kiryat Yam in the Israeli National League. At 23 years old, Yifrah aims to finally fulfill his significant potential by gaining more playing time and exposure. He remains under contract with Maccabi Haifa, which will decide his future at the end of the season.
Yifrah, a winger who rose through Maccabi Haifa's youth system, debuted for the senior team at 17 under coach Barak Bachar and was part of the championship-winning squad. He has previously been loaned to Hapoel Afula, Hapoel Hadera, and Ironi Tiberias to gain experience. During the 2023/24 season, he showed promising form at Hapoel Afula but suffered a severe knee injury that sidelined him for about 14 months.
Following a lengthy rehabilitation supported by Maccabi Haifa, Yifrah returned to action, extended his contract, and was loaned to Hapoel Nof HaGalil to regain fitness and confidence. His current loan to M.S. Kiryat Yam is another step toward realizing the potential that marked him as a standout talent from a young age.
