Israeli Ministry Reveals $250 Million Funding for Anti-Israel Groups in the US Linked to Terror Support

The Israeli Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism published a report revealing that around 20 anti-Israel organizations operating in the United States have raised over $250 million in recent years. These groups, which promote delegitimization of Israel and express support for terrorist organizations, have been found to use ostensibly legitimate donation channels to funnel resources for incitement and terror-related activities.

The report highlights financial patterns indicating that some funds were transferred through intermediary entities, serving as conduits to groups connected to terrorism. It also notes coordinated campaigns and extensive public and educational activities by these organizations, which often operate under the guise of civil society, human rights, or educational frameworks but promote extremist messages and systematic antisemitic incitement.

Following the report's release, Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Shikli sent letters to US congressional leaders and law enforcement agencies urging action against these organizations. He stated, "We continue to expose the true faces of seemingly 'innocent' civil society groups that in reality support terror and incitement against the State of Israel." Avi Cohen Skali, CEO of the Ministry, emphasized that these tax-exempt organizations are prohibited from political activity under US law but nonetheless advance anti-Israel agendas and incitement.

The Ministry stressed that the report is based on comprehensive analysis of public, regulatory, and legal data, and it plans to continue efforts to uncover links between ostensibly civil organizations and illegal or terror-related activities.
