Moti Saraf Sells PUSH News Venture Shares to Itzik Perzan at 10 Million Shekel Valuation
The PUSH news venture, co-founded by Itzik Perzan and strategic advisor Moti Saraf's company Forever, is undergoing a separation. Saraf will sell his 35% stake in PUSH to Perzan for a valuation of 10 million shekels, based on the company's projected value at the end of 2025, though current estimates suggest a higher worth. The deal was initially reported in November and involves Perzan acquiring shares held by Forever, while BRM fund provided Saraf with 10% of the deal financing but did not hold direct shares.
Following the transaction, Perzan will control 93% of PUSH, with law firm Weinberger-Rentental retaining 7%. The separation aims to enable PUSH to expand rapidly, recruit new staff, and invest in content and data technologies. Saraf recently introduced Brij-AI, an AI-focused company specializing in real-time narrative and risk analysis, which Forever plans to launch publicly within two months and announce global clients.
Originally, the plan was to integrate PUSH and Brij-AI to combine AI investment with content marketing strategies. However, both ventures require dedicated management and capital, prompting the decision to part ways so each can fully realize its potential. PUSH has approximately 960,000 Instagram followers and other social media accounts, which Perzan acquired from "Israel Entertainment" following a dispute, now regaining full control.
Saraf stated the decision was difficult but necessary to focus on Brij-AI, expressing respect for Perzan and confidence in PUSH's future. Perzan did not comment. This move reflects strategic refocusing amid significant AI investments and ongoing plans for PUSH's growth.
