Tel Aviv surf park launches World Cup fan zone with live screenings
Surf Park Tel Aviv announced the launch of MONDIAL 2026, a World Cup viewing area that will operate throughout the tournament and turn the site into a dedicated fan zone for football supporters.
A giant screen will be installed beside the surfing lagoon to broadcast matches live, allowing visitors to watch under the open sky while combining football with a Tel Aviv summer atmosphere. The park says the concept is designed to blend World Cup viewing with access to its artificial wave pool, which is suitable for beginners through professional surfers.
Food and bar areas will also operate during the event, including the Lookout rooftop bar and the Dorian restaurant. They will offer a special menu inspired by stadium culture, along with fan events and activities before and after the main matches.
In addition to general admission, the park will sell packages for companies and organizations that include private events, VIP areas, and group surfing workshops. CEO Yoav Laor said, “We looked for a way to take the World Cup viewing experience off the home sofa or the usual neighborhood bar. The connection between the rhythmic energy of wave surfing and the drama of the World Cup creates a perfect platform for a summer outing. We created a place where families, surfers and die-hard football fans can meet under one roof, enjoy world-class waves and not miss a single minute of the tournament.”
