Hasidic Ensemble Shteele Revitalizes Classic Cantorial Piece 'Lefichach Anachnu'

The Hasidic ensemble Shteele, led by conductor Dudi Barim, has released a fresh and energetic new rendition of 'Lefichach Anachnu,' a classic piece by the late cantor Israel Shor, a prominent figure in Hasidic cantorial music. This updated version blends traditional Hasidic melodies with classical cantorial elements, offering a dynamic and contemporary interpretation that preserves the spiritual depth of the original composition.

Rather than adhering to the traditional liturgical style, Shteele presents a completely reimagined arrangement with a lively tempo that injects new life into the piece. The musical arrangement was crafted by Naftali Landsman, known for his work with other Hasidic music projects such as Shalom Shimon Weinberg and the Malchut choir, who balanced fidelity to the source with modern musical freshness.

Vocal arrangement was overseen by Dudi Barim, ensuring a polished and professional choir performance, while the entire production was managed by Shloimi Bukshpan from start to finish.
