Yaki Edmeker Warns United Torah Judaism Against Aligning With Left-Wing Politicians

During a broadcast of the program "The Patriots" on Channel 14, panelist Yaki Edmeker issued a strong warning to members of the United Torah Judaism party. Edmeker cautioned the party against cooperating with left-wing figures, specifically mentioning Knesset member Gadi Eizenkot. He argued that such alliances would harm both the party and the Jewish identity of the State of Israel, describing any cooperation as a strategic mistake with serious consequences.

Edmeker addressed ongoing discussions within United Torah Judaism about potentially partnering with "the other side" and urged them to avoid giving what he called "a gift" to these groups. He claimed that the intentions of these left-wing actors are insincere and not in the interests of the Haredi public. According to Edmeker, their true goal is not the recruitment of Haredim but something else, emphasizing that "they want this gift from you."

Beyond political ramifications, Edmeker warned that a left-wing government could severely damage Israel's Jewish character and negatively affect public discourse and media narratives. He concluded with a stark caution: "They want against you, not for your benefit."
