A couple from central Israel who sold their Lexus to a family from Bnei Brak discovered disturbing handwritten messages on some of the cash bills they received as part of the payment. The messages included slogans such as "We will die but not enlist" and "Thanks to the Torah and its learners, the world will be saved," expressing opposition to the conscription of ultra-Orthodox Jews into the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The transaction took place on Monday, July 21, 2026, with the Bnei Brak family paying part of the amount in cash. The sellers only noticed the inscriptions after the deal was completed and the parties had parted ways.
