New Israeli Party 'Raising the Flag' Founded by Yeshiva Graduates

A new political party named "Raising the Flag for the People of Israel, Torah of Israel, and Land of Israel" has been established, led by Yonatan Polak, a teacher from Kochav HaShachar and graduate of Yeshivat Mitzpe Ramon. The party's founders include Yair Uriel, former spokesperson for the Noam party and current editor of the "Olam Katan" website, Benjamin Greenberg, a graduate of Yeshivat Har Hamor, and Ariel Sheli from Jerusalem, also a Mitzpe Ramon yeshiva alumnus. Additional founders hail from various religious communities, including Daniel Tubuloski from Hashmonaim, Nehorai Shabtai from Mitzpe Ramon, Ariel Shila from Beit El, Nehorai Ifergan from Beersheba, Ofek Fenster from Mitzpe Ramon, Yarden Guterman from Peduel, and Harel Ganbar from Kfar HaRa'ah.

The party's headquarters is located at the home of David Bulvik in Mitzpe Ramon. Many of the founders have prior involvement with the Noam party and are closely affiliated with the Har Hamor and Mitzpe Ramon yeshivas, which are under the spiritual leadership of Rabbi Tzvi Tau, who also leads the Noam party and serves as president of Yeshivat Har Hamor. David Gordon expressed skepticism on Twitter, questioning the party's purpose and suggesting it might serve as a backup to the original Noam party.
