Arson Terror Continues in Binyamin as Militant Attempts to Set Fire Near Farm

The Binyamin Regional Council reported a series of arson attempts throughout the day following the torching of Gilad Farm on Saturday. The latest incident was captured near the "Tzur Levavi" farm close to the British Police Junction, where a militant from the village of Sinjil was seen setting fire and then fleeing back to his village. No casualties were reported, and the fires were quickly extinguished by local residents and security forces.

Israel Gantz, head of the Binyamin Council and chairman of the Yesha Council, condemned the attacks as deliberate terror aimed at harming residents and undermining Israeli presence in the area. He expressed support for security forces' firm response against the perpetrators amid repeated attempts to damage farms and settlements in Binyamin.

The initial major arson attack occurred on Saturday around 2 p.m. in the Yishai neighborhood of the settlement of Kedumim. Firefighters and security personnel discovered it was a coordinated terror attack involving militants from the nearby village of Jit, who ignited four separate fires simultaneously to maximize damage and endanger lives. The firefighting effort involved eight firefighting planes and an aerial reconnaissance helicopter, with control over the flames achieved only after many tense hours. The aftermath revealed extensive destruction.
